  • Overview




    This position provides support, reporting, innovation, process improvement and execution pertaining to freight and pricing. Partner with Operations, Sales, and IS teams specific to projects, processes, and support.

    System innovation and maintenance is a large portion of this role. Analyst is responsible for user testing, KPI reporting, and general audit functions supporting accuracy.





    • Prepare and analyze daily/monthly reports and communicate opportunities for improvement
    • Implementing effective processes and controls at the transactional level to stay in compliance with audit
    • System innovation & implementation to innovate with technology
    • Assist with design & optimize Sequel, Vendavo, CAMS, and Diver queries for reporting and system maintenance
    • Assist with strategic initiatives, system platforms, and process innovations
    • Assist with opportunities related to business activities and perform research for special projects as assigned
    • Assist with price increase implementation; system & tactical
    • Own data integrity and find inconsistencies
    • Performs other duties as required

    • 3+ years of job specific work experience combined with equivalent training/education to perform the essential functions of the job
    • Intermediate level of understanding of reporting principles and practices
    • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, & Customer Service
    • Knowledge of marketing and sales terminology, concepts and business operating procedures
    • Analytical / technical skills required to collect and prepare financial, statistical, productivity data, etc
    • Ability to exercise good judgment, problem solving ability and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines
    • Ability to identify, analyze and resolve business issues through solution-oriented projects.
    • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of internal customers
    • Ability to maintain corporate standards and professionalism.
    • Strong analytical skills to interpret, adapt, known methods, system procedures or operating concepts to new situations.
    • Ability to coordinate diverse administrative tasks requiring exceptional organizational skills.
    • Ability to work efficiently under conditions of multiple deadlines and changing priorities.
