    Responsibilities

    • Takes leads provided by Analytics Team and completes further research with direct phone calls to fill in the gaps and create a shorter discovery phase for Account Executives. Creates account maps of target end users to be delivered with presales “farming” notes to be delivered to Account Executives as part of the Business Planning process and as one off requests through the year. Responsible for facilitating new growth of the business by giving Account Executives both more time in front of customers and more completed account/lead data.
    • 40%: Research leads & target end users through direct phone calls to influencers & gatekeepers to validate and expand on existing lead data. Must be able to tell the Mohawk story and interact with potential customers to move through discovery questions, but will not function as an inside sales “hunter”.
    • 40%: Map end user accounts to be used by AEs in pursuing opportunities with new, large end customers.
    • 10%: Support analytics team with one off requests as necessary.
    • 10%: Carries out other duties as assigned.
    • Knowledge of company products, competitor’s products and company standards
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Prepares own work efficiency in order to meet daily, weekly, project or team-related productivity goals.
    • Strong detail orientation skills
    • Knowledge of advanced sales techniques, concepts and the ability to influence and persuade
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • SFDC experience & knowledge a plus
    • ConstructConnect/CoStar experience & knowledge a plus

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or GED, Bachelors preferred. At least (2) years experience in a research or presales “farming” role. Interior finishes industry experience is a plus.
