    Gather information from various sources within the company (Accounting, Cost Accounting, Logistics, DI Web Diver, AS400) and maintain this information on Excel spreadsheets. Access tables and Queries and transform data into useable spreadsheets and PowerPoint Presentations. Compile data and compile into reports for Senior Level Management groups and assist in developing yarn and carpet planning system. Utilize available computer systems resources and personnel to carry out analysis to support Management’s quest for performance improvement. Detect and solve problem spots to prevent errors.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Innovation and recommendation of changes in established methods, procedures and service
    • Assists division management or project team with the development and formulation of strategic long range and short-range plans to build performance and direct process improvement, which demands predictability in forecasting
    • Conducts studies, prepares reports and advises on feasibility, cost effectiveness and regulatory conformance, utilizing knowledge of subject area, research techniques and regulatory limitations
    • Regularly works with confidential data and is responsible for maintenance, handling of goods, tools, equipment, and valuable software.
    • Develop alternate plans for program or project, incorporating recommendations, for review of management; also review plans and proposals submitted by other governmental planning commissions to assist in formulation of overall strategic plans
    • Using experience to provide broad knowledge of the principles, concepts, methodology, skills, technical methods and competencies
    • Duties include moderate analysis, integration and coordination of various elements in assigned problem areas. Work includes interpretation of and generalization from data.
    • Involves considerable accuracy and responsibility in this position to prevent possible problems. Complex problems, usually limited in scope, must be resolved through the application of established procedures or practices, identifying and analyzing conditions and elements to discern interrelationships. Requires the making of decisions to determine the course of action through established framework of the job.
    • Using personal contact with employees in the same company, and outside contacts must be established on a routine basis, with the purpose of the contact  to build a working relationship within the company’s regions, international and various levels of the business
    • Compile monthly reports and forecasts used for Reach Outs in dyeing and distribute reports to management
    • Review and approve information from SBU meetings and input data into database to create spreadsheets for comparison

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree 
    •  1 year of experience in the same or similar field
    • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with individuals at many levels of the organization.
    • Good PC Skills, Organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Ability to prioritize work, identifying potential delays and implementing solutions before they occur.
    • Must use strong degree of judgment to prevent inconvenience and define problems, collect data, establish facts and have the ability to learn quickly and work under pressure.
    • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business journals, technical procedures and government regulations and the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers.
    • Must have ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms and quadratic equations and permutations. 
    • Handle challenges and be motivated to improve job process and performance
    • Other job duties as assigned by management
