    Responsibilities

    • Work with and communicate with sales representatives, customers, designers, and others to create custom products to meet needs/requirements of the customer.
    • Initiate custom work orders through AS400 or other means as needed to create custom samples and/or simulations as well as cost requests and other options as needed in an accurate and timely manner.
    • Work directly with design team to translate customer requests into viable custom patterns as needed.
    • Match colors to best create and meet customer expectations
    • Manage each project from initiation to completion, including assisting manufacturing in the setup of trial production runs, or production orders as needed.
    • Attend and participate in weekly Fitness for Use meetings
    • Keep accurate records and sample files
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • Three years job specific experience that includes the following:
    • Understanding of backing, fiber and CAD simulations. 
    • Technical understanding of production machinery. 
    • An understanding of Mohawk plant systems and manufacturing processes a plus.
    • Advanced personal computer skills (AS400) and Excel
