    We are in search of an Executive Recruiter that will be responsible for managing ongoing pipeline development, recruitment and selection of experienced leaders. This person will gain an in depth understanding of the building products industry and build an extensive network of industry executives. The Executive Recruiter will collaborate with Mohawk's leadership team and gain an in depth understanding of our business and our recruiting needs. 


    • Create and continually assess recruiting strategies for leadership positions.
    • Partner with business leaders to make strategic hiring decisions that support business goals.
    • Establish and maintain a strong recruiting network through regular attendance of industry trade shows.
    • Partner with Human Resources to understand gaps in the succession plan and build external network to fill those gaps.
    • Conduct recruitment research and build extensive database of leadership talent within the industry.
    • Manage the selection process and placement of qualified leaders.
    • Develop and maintain an in depth understanding of Mohawk's Business Strategy and Culture


    • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
    • 5+ years in recruiting or staffing
    • 2+ years recruiting at the executive level, including experience interacting with and influencing the "C suite"
    • Ability to network with and build relationships with leaders throughout the industry
    • Exceptional business acumen with ability to quickly learn Mohawk business strategy
    • PHR or SPHR certification preferred
    • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office and the Internet.
    • Knowledge of or ability to learn employment laws, regulations, and guidelines
    • Excellent communication skills; written, verbal and presentation.
    • Ability to multi-task, follow-up, meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
    • An outward and inward display of professional decorum, tact, and integrity
