*Currently recruiting for two Brand Marketing interns, one for the hard surface flooring group and the other for soft surface flooring.


Identify gaps and recommend new processes for coordination between soft and hard surface brand teams on:  (unified Mohawk)

  1. Promotions
  2. Merchandising
  3. Digital Campaigns
  4. In-store POP

Research merchandising.

  1. How are the competitors merchandising hardwood, laminate, vinyl, tile?
  2. What are the most successful merchandising systems?
  3. What opportunities do we have to start cross merchandising between soft and hard surface?
  4. Is there any opportunity for digital merchandising (3d printing large panels)?
  5. Compile images used on all merchandisers to review current messaging.


Review Mohawk and Karastan’s website, brand guidelines, brochures/warranties,, and Ad Centers to ensure all content and imagery is updated and consistent.  Provide recommendations as to how to combine/consistent soft and hard surface information.


Update the showroom with the latest displays and graphics


Create a brand wall for hard and soft surface


Additional soft surface responsibilities: Review lifestyle images used by soft surface fiber brands and categorize them by what fiber brand they are currently used for.
