Responsibilities

To ensure the accuracy of inventory across multiple facilities and product lines.  Manages cycle counters to meet SOX requirement of cycling 100% of inventory.

  • Monitor cycle activity at all Home Facilities. (Inside & Outside) Run Weekly reports for inventories & cycle activity to insure compliance.
  • Assist Site Coordinators at all facilities with issues, whether system, process, or personnel related.
  • Run SOX audit report for CY2 adjustments >$1,000 to insure those are being monitored.
  • Publish Monthly Cycle Reports for management review in regards to cycle activity & accuracy at all Home facilities.
  • Verify accuracy of all inventories at outside locations within Home of responsibility before month-end.
  • Identify & clean up old transfers either to or from Home warehouses using “Transfers Not Received Report”. Any transfers older than 2 weeks need addressing.
  • Review “LOST” locations at Home warehouses & assist as needed.
  • Assist in IT support where needed to insure ease of use & accuracy.
  • Assist in corrections of Out of Balance issues.
  • Act as liaison between individual facilities & Inventory Accounting.
  • Write & maintain procedures for Inventory functions.
  • Assist with Auditors questions (both Internal & External) in regards to our Inventory processes & accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree required. Bachelor’s preferred.
  • Knowledge of inventory control, and other company functional and operational organization structure
  • Intermediate computer skills with experience in word processing and spreadsheet applications: MS Word, Excel, AS400, Internet, Electronic email required
  • Experience must include a minimum of two years’ inventory control.
