Responsibilities

Responsible for analyzing, and solving the SAP Materials Management/Production Planning issues, and conducting SAP Materials Management/Production Planning process configuration. Update and maintain all SAP Materials Management/Production Planning functional documentation. Analyze and scope end user authorization roles. Conduct unit tests, integration tests and system integration security tests. Proactively propose solutions to improve the support of (new) business processes. Support the functional team with issues and provide solutions-based approach. Understand how Production Planning interfaces with other modules such as Sales and Distribution, Finance and Controlling, and Materials Management. Configure master data and guide and train the users on business process. Understand latest functionalities and features in SAP ECC 6.0 (SAP ERP). Read, debug and understand Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) custom code. May be assigned to various, unanticipated worksites throughout the United States.

Qualifications

Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience in the field of software engineering or business analysis or Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of software engineering or business analysis.

 

Special Skill Requirements: Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP); SAP ECC 6.0 (SAP ERP); integration tests; SAP Materials Management Module (SAP MM); SAP Production Planning Module (SAP PP); SAP Sales and Distribution Module (SAP SD); SAP Warehouse Management Module (SAP WM); SAP Variant Configuration Module (SAP VC); SAP Finance and Controlling Module (SAP FICO). Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable. May be assigned to various, unanticipated worksites throughout the United States.
