Responsibilities

To provide professional administrative support to the Human Resources department, which includes but is not limited to:

  • Provide meeting/training support to the Human Resources department, i.e., schedule meetings, reserve meeting space, extend invitations, order food, prepare meeting materials.
  • Order and maintain meeting supplies, office supplies, and office equipment.
  • Track expenses, code invoices, submit invoices for payment, and resolve payment issues.
  • Assist Safety Department 
  • Coordinate and assist with other HR-related projects as needed.
  • Assist in recruitment activities, and candidate management
  • Assist with employee onboarding process
  • Assists with special projects, employee relations and providing general administrative support
  • Assist employees with general human resource assistance
  • Assist with preparation of employee communication tools and events

 

 

 

Qualifications

    • Excellent verbal and written communication
    • Prior HR internship preferred
    • Interpersonal and organizational skills
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
    • Desired majors: Human Resources or related field
    • An interest in pursuing Human Resources as a career 
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
